Cemetery

In 1848 after the old churchyard near the church had become too small, a new cemetery had to be planned in its present place. Later it was extended a few times and in 1972/73 and 1992 it was newly laid out. At the same time some tombstones worth preserving were put up in an older part of the cemetery.

At the entrance to the cemetery there are the war memorials from 1870/71, 1914/18 and 1939/45. Here you can also see the remarkable arrangement of the graves of the veterans, who were buried, separately from their wives, in this memorial cemetery.
